Clusia rosea

Clusiaceae. Introduced and can be found all around Kaua’i as a landscape tree. Natively found in Florida, Mexico, and from Central America through the Caribbean, to the north of South America. It’s common name comes from the tendency for people to scar it’s leaves, leaving messages written on them. Least Concern.
