Combretaceae. Introduced, commonly found around Kaua’i as a large landscape tree or near coasts. Natively found near coasts of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, South and Southeast Asia, and many islands through the South Pacific. Least Concerned. 
Leaves: medium, ovoid, dry-season deciduous turning red at maturity.
Flowers: small, greenish white, raceme inflorescence.
