Ironwood
Casuarina equisetifolia

Casuarinaceae. Introduced and native to most of Southeast Asia and Oceania. They are evergreen gymnosperms that grow as trees or large shrubs and are commonly found near beaches.
Leaves are small, scale-like and grow in a whorled arrangement, composed of around 5-20 leaves.
Flowers are small cylindrical green cones while on branches, but light brown and pokey after they fall. IUCN status: least concern.
Leaves are compound, large, and pinnately divided with approximately 150 linear-lanceolate leaflets.
Flowers are small, pale yellow and arranged in a spadix inflorescence within a spathe.
