Fabaceae. Introduced and commonly found all over the island as a landscape tree. Natively found from Southern Mexico to Northern South America, and Bolivia. Least Concern.
Leaves: leaflets small, 2x even pinnately compound with terminal leaflets.
Flowers: heads contain small pink flowers with white long protruding stamen that fade into a vibrant pink.
